Eamonn Holmes is preparing to reveal his side of his sad split from wife of 14 years Ruth Langsford. The former This Morning presenter has already moved out of his parental home

Eamonn Holmes has agreed to reveal his split from Ruth Langsford in his first TV appearance since announcing their split.

The couple shocked fans this weekend with a statement confirming that their 14-year marriage was over.

It has now been revealed that shortly before the news was shared by their representatives, Eamonn moved out of their family home. Eamonn, 64, is said to have left their £3.25million Surrey mansion and now lives in a nearby property.

Amid his grief, Eamonn is preparing to tell all about his second divorce when he returns to GB News on Monday. A source said the TV host knows fans are eager to hear from him and he won’t shy away from sharing his side.

“Eamonn is always candid on camera and knows it will be strange for him to discuss the news of the day without mentioning his divorce, so he will say a few words,” they confirmed.

“He is putting on a brave face and will be the true professional he has always been. Focusing on work will be a welcome distraction,” the source told The Sun.

Yesterday the couple’s separate ‘lives’ were blamed for their split, with a source saying their work was ‘pulling them in different directions’.

The duo had worked together on This Morning until they made the move in 2020. While Ruth remained at ITV to co-anchor Loose Women, Eamonn moved to GB News and took a series of farewell photos at his former employer after his departure.
