Lifestyle beauty brand freshhas a Sensory Gargen Journey popup on Sanya CDF Mall in Hainan, in May, the peak travel period, in a tripartite collaboration: fresh x Ctrip x CDF.

The activation takes place on the facade of the world’s largest duty-free shopping center, a top traffic location.

Inspired by Fresh’s gifts, the sensory garden is housed in a giant, fresh blue gift box, tied with ribbon, giving travelers the ‘Gift from Nature’. The fresh blue box design matches botanical elements and depicts a picturesque scene in the mall. When visitors enter the Sensorial Garden Voyage, they step into a world where nature meets creativity, and enjoy exclusive activations, multi-sensory experiences and offers.

The pop-up shows hero products: Black Tea Advanced Age Renewal Face & Eye Cream and Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence. Echoing the power of nature of Fresh’s new product, customers are greeted with an abundance of green plants and floral arrangements. Visitors can embrace the secret garden-like space and enjoy a sensory journey with black tea.

The pop-up comes with an omnichannel activation that spans several touchpoints to create an engaging brand experience. Through targeted online and social activations, Fresh immerses potential customers in a sensory journey of discovery. By leveraging its exposure on Ctrip and collaborations with influencers, the brand is targeting Hainan travelers. Through visually appealing product presentations and glimpses of the pop-up store, the Sensorial Garden Voyage generated widespread awareness in the online space.

In the interactive photo zone, customers can create personal memories by taking a photo using the AR filter with butterflies. Customers can also share their sensory memory with their friends and receive a set of high-quality skin care sample packs upon completion.

Bouquets are offered to visitors throughout the month of May. Flowers are distributed on occasions such as Golden Week, Mother’s Day and 520 weekend, which enhances the joy and affection of the traveling customers.
