Kalvin Phillips was loaned to West Ham United for the second half of the 23/24 season.

Kalvin Phillips has reportedly offered himself to a major European club ahead of the summer transfer window.

In the summer of 2022, Phillips moved to the Etihad Stadium from Leeds United in a deal worth a reported fee of £42 million.

However, the Englishman has failed to impress so far as he struggles to adapt to Pep Guardiola’s demands.

In January, the 28-year-old was loaned out to West Ham United but again struggled.

Phillips ultimately played just ten games for the Hammers and was shown a red card against Nottingham Forest after two bookable offences.

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it is claimed that Phillips has offered himself to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona.

According to Spanish news outlet SPORT, the City star is said to have offered himself to the Catalan club, the report citing anonymous sources.

The former Bayern Munich and Germany manager added: “The philosophy they have is similar to mine: lots of ball possession and really attacking football and those other things I like.”
