Schneider Electric’s campus in Bengaluru can accommodate 8,000 people

BENGALURU: Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, inaugurated one of the largest employee campuses in the world at Bagmane Solarium City on Thursday.

In a statement, the company said this state-of-the-art campus covers an area of ​​60,000 square meters and features a Global Innovation Hub, a training center, an R&D center, a skills center and a digital hub with a capacity to accommodate more than 8,000 professionals.

Schneider Electric has invested Rs 200 crore in setting up one of the largest employee campuses in Bengaluru. “This new campus reaffirms Schneider Electric’s commitment to being an employer of choice by providing world-class infrastructure where employees can collaborate, develop and deliver leading solutions for customers. It also reinforces the company’s commitment to ‘Make in India for India and for the world’, demonstrating continued investments in manufacturing, innovation, people, R&D and skill building,” the report said.

“This new investment underlines our commitment to accelerate our contribution to India’s rapid growth. We strongly believe in its potential as a springboard for innovative ideas that benefit local customers while having a global impact,” said Peter Herweck, CEO of Schneider Electric.
