Where to watch Euro 2024 in London – the best restaurants and bars showing the matches

By Vaseline May30,2024

From June 14 to July 14, 2024, football will take over as the European Championship starts again. If you can’t make it to Germany for a match, here’s where you can watch the matches in London with food and drinks in hand.

Locations with large outdoor spaces

Where can you watch The Euros in London?Watch on the big screen at Vinegar Yard

Vinegar Yard (Bermondsey) – There are walk-ins for non-England matches, while England match tickets include drinks in this huge outdoor area. On the food front, there are burgers from Nanny Bill’s and Baba G’s, pizza from Bad Boy Pizza Society, the Japanese Chicken Shop and more.

Box park (Wembley, Croydon and Shoreditch) – Watching a match here is always an immersive experience and you can always expect TV broadcasts to show the crowd getting angry at Boxpark when a goal is scored. Tickets for the games here sell quickly, so get there early. The ticket to guarantee entry includes a drink and you’ll have access to plenty of street food vendors and bars.

Big penny social (Walthamstow) – There are several screens here including a huge new LED screen which is new this year. They’re working with Muller Rice, so we expect to see a few jars of it going around. They’ll also have a house band and apparently “pyrotechnics will go off for the big moments.” Beer is the main focus, but you can also order burgers and pizzas.

Iron Square (Bermondsey) – Another space that is mainly outdoors. This year there will be many screens (18 of them), while the food offering will include Breddos tacos, Gamekeeper burgers and Cluck Farmyard chicken.

Between the bridges (Waterloo) – South of the river, this venue has three large screens with tickets from just £5. The food includes Bang Bang burgers, Lebanese wraps from Lil’Watan, Krapow Thai and much more.

Cause (Docklands) – At The Cause they show all the matches on big screens and look back to the mid 80’s. So you can expect a bit of acid house and they say you’ll feel like you’re “on a club terrace in the Balearic Islands.” to sit”.

Dalston Roof Park (Dalston) – This rooftop spot shows some of the biggest matches and features promising “football legends” in attendance. In terms of food, there is Street Greek, which serves Mediterranean dishes.

Hackney Bridge (Hackney Wick) – At the canal in Hackney Wick, tickets for the England matches are available in this outdoor area, while the rest of the matches are walk-in. For food they have Filipino BBQ from Filigrillz, pizza from Made in Puglia, Rainbo dumplings and more.

Indoor locations (for the rainy days)

Where can you watch The Euros in London?Playing with Daffodil Mulligan

Clapham Great (Clapham) – They show the England matches on a huge 6.5 meter screen, with six more screens spread around the room. There are many seating options here, including your own boxes and you get a free drink with every ticket. For food there are hot dogs, nachos and popcorn.

Daffodil Mulligan (Old Street) – You can watch the games upstairs in the restaurant or downstairs in Gibney’s, so you can dine and not miss any of the big games.

The Cadogan Arms (Chelsea) and The George (Fitzrovia) – Both pubs show competitions and on competition days they team up with Singleton Whiskey for special dishes such as Singleton Whiskey tallow-aged rib chop. They also have their regular game day sharing boards.

Piano works (Farringdon and Covent Garden) – Fancy singing along live while watching matches? Then this is the place to go. Expect at least one “Three Lions” play.

Toca Social (The O2) – This place is all about football and food anyway, so it works quite well before the games. They’re also taking the influence from this year’s hosts and will be holding a “Junetoberfest” where you can watch the beer stein and bratwurst competitions.

We’ll add more locations to the list as we get closer to the first game.

Plus lots of pubs…

Yep, pretty much every pub in the country will have the game too – so here’s how to make sure you’re in one of the best.
