How does Mammootty stay in shape at the age of 72? He reveals the secret to Khalid Al Ameri | Health

Khalid Al Ameri, a social media influencer from Dubai, who often makes videos based on Kerala festivals, food and culture, recently interviewed actor Mammootty in the UAE. Calling it the ‘greatest interview of his life’, Khalid asked Mammootty how the actor stays in shape at his age. The 72-year-old actor, who is often praised for his efforts to stay fit and fit, admitted to Khalid that he is “irregularly regular” at the gym. As far as his diet is concerned, Mammootty said he eats everything except the portions. “An actor’s instrument is his body. So he has to maintain it, it’s that simple. I eat everything I like to eat, but not as much as I like to eat,” said Mammootty, referring to portion control.

Even earlier, the actor has shared in several interviews that portion control is his way of dieting. Mammootty’s fitness instructor Vipin Xavier once said, “Mammukka usually opts for carbohydrates like millet and oats, which do not trigger insulin, instead of rice. He also takes eggs and fish for protein and doesn’t use much whey protein. Moreover, he generally has no cheat days and follows his diet strictly.” Talking about his training, Vipin said, “He is genetically gifted with a good physique and so is his son Dulquer Salmaan. Even with light workouts they can have a fit body. Still, Mammukka regularly does balanced, full-body fitness routines and his favorite workouts are biceps and triceps.
