The regional driver’s license office will be open for walk-ins only on June 1 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

No appointment is necessary. Applicants only need to bring the necessary documents to apply for a REAL ID or Standard ID.

The walk-in event does not include written tests and driving tests administered by the Kentucky State Police. Visit the KSP website to schedule an appointment for these services.

The Regional Licensing Office processes applications for REAL ID or standard licenses and ID cards. The application for a REAL ID must be made in person, with two proofs of residence, social security and identity at a regional KYTC office.

The Owensboro office is located at 2620 KY 81 in the Daviess County Operations Center. Hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and appointments are generally highly recommended due to limited walk-in space.
