Bayern Munich and PSG are eyeing Everton as Club considers a sale to comply with P&S rules

Paris Saint-Germain could strengthen their midfield this summer, and as the opening of the transfer window approaches, several rumors will emerge. The latest news comes from the Parisians, who are looking to the Premier League to solve their midfield problem.

Manuel Ugarte’s future is in limbo and PSG have reportedly withdrawn from the race for Newcastle United star Bruno Guimarães. So, who could Ligue 1 target to improve its midfield position?

According to Football Insider, Everton could make a bid for star midfielder Amadou Onana before June 30. The Toffees view the Belgium international as a valuable asset they can sell. A potential deal could go a long way toward allaying their concerns about further breaches of profit and sustainability (P&S) rules.

Towards the end of the season, Onana found himself not always starting in Sean Dyche’s lineup. The club view him as a potential player to let go to secure the stay of other key players at Goodison Park this summer.

Football Insider adds that Onana has attracted the interest of at least five top European clubs, including PSG and Bayern Munich. Onana does have experience of playing in Ligue 1, having spent time at LOSC Lille before joining Everton in 2022.
