Proform Food Group placed under voluntary management

By Vaseline May27,2024

Proform Food Group – the manufacturer of plant-based protein products under the Meet, Protein Plate and Bad Hunter brands – has entered voluntary administration.

Gayle Dickerson and James Dampney of KPMG Australia have been appointed as administrators to oversee the process.

The administrators have taken over day-to-day control of the group, which will continue to operate as normal while conducting a rapid business review. In the meantime, the Meet products remain on supermarket shelves.

The appointment of administrators covers the entities including Proform Food Group Pty Limited, Proform Innovation Pty Limited, Proform Gourmet Pty Limited and Proform Foods Pty Limited.

Dampney emphasized that they would focus on maintaining normal operations while beginning to accelerate business process sales.

“Proform is a well-established company in a sector with attractive medium-term growth prospects,” he added. “We will work with all stakeholders, including employees, suppliers and customers, to maximize the outcome for all parties.”

The reason for the company’s voluntary administration has not yet been disclosed.
