PlayStation gamers warned they have until the end of May to claim free store credit

Don’t miss some freebies

As time goes by, gaming princes continue to rise and despite providing us with some of the best forms of entertainment, it can be quite an expensive hobby.

However, in addition to the PlayStation Plus subscription service, Sony is giving its user base another chance to get their hands on some free titles with the PlayStation Stars campaign.

Sandy soil could be one of the eligible games this month. Check it out below!

The loyalty program sees members take on a series of tasks, both in-game and otherwise, which in turn earn points that can be redeemed for free store credit in the PS Store.

“PlayStation Plus members who also join PlayStation Stars will earn points on every eligible PlayStation Store purchase,” the official description reads.

“The points you earn can be redeemed for PSN Wallet money that you can save or use towards your next PS Store purchase, exclusive digital collectibles for your PlayStation App showcase, and more.”

However, with some deals only running for a limited time, it’s worth noting that May’s deal ends very soon and members only have a few days left to claim some free store credit.

It ends on May 31 and rewards members with an impressive 50 points. All players have to do to get their hands on these is purchase a few titles from the PS Store.

The titles vary by region, so it’s worth checking out the titles in your area. However, once you purchase these titles you will be rewarded with bonus points which you can in turn use towards future purchases.

It’s also important to remember that members must activate the campaign in the PS app before making any purchases or the extra points will not be rewarded.

This is just one example of the many ways PlayStation users can save some money in the long run. Between PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Stars, future titles will be slightly cheaper, which will make all the difference over time. So don’t miss it!
